A Taiwanese-Japanese actor and singer, born on October 11, 1973, in Taipei, Taiwan. He attended Taipei American School during grades ten through twelve but did not graduate. Kaneshiro was one of 10 recipients of the 2010 Green Planet Film Award for Ten Best International Actors of the Decade (Asia). He is known for Chungking Express (1994), House of Flying Daggers (2004), and Fallen Angels (1995).
