A British writer, born in Teddington, London. He is of Russian and Polish origins. He began writing at the age of eight and went to a school in London. He worked as a street vendor, wrestler, nightclub owner, and cinema manager. He wrote many novels and short stories. He also wrote for newspapers periodically. He died in Middletown, New York, USA.
