An American actor, born in Queens, New York. He studied at the High School of Music & Art in Manhattan, then obtained a bachelor’s degree in education in 1959 from New York University. In 1972, he received the Tony Award for theater. Among his works are The Boys in the Band (1970), An Unmarried Woman (1978), The Bunker (1981), and Night And The City (1992).
