American actor, born September 25, 1925 in Huntsville, Texas. Forrest appeared in 1954 in the movie Prisoner of War, in which Ronald Reagan also participated, before he later became President of the United States. In 1960 he participated in the movie The Glowing Star with Elvis Presley and Barbara Eden. The family of the late actor said in a statement that he died peacefully on May 18, without giving the cause of death. Forrest gained fame after playing the role of Lieutenant Hondo Harrelson in the ABC crime series . The series lasted 37 episodes from 1975 to 1976 and was produced by Leonard Goldberg and Aaron Spelling, and Forrest appeared as a guest star in a movie based on the story of the series in 2003. Forrest participated with the US Army in World War II and got his big chance when actor Gregory Peck watched him in a theatrical work in 1950 to later contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Film Production Company.
