American actress, mother of director Martin Scorsese. She was born in Manhattan, New York, and began her artistic career in 1964, where she presented the short film It's Not Just You, Murray! (1964). She also participated in many diverse artistic works, such as The King of Comedy (1982) and The Godfather: Part III (1990).
