Paula Prentiss was born in San Antonio, Texas, USA on March 4, 1938 as Paula Ragusa. Paula Prentiss married actor, producer, and director Richard Benjamin in 1961, with whom she had two children, Ross Benjamin and Prentiss Benjamin. Paula was discovered at Northwestern University in 1958 and signed a contract with MGM and collaborated with Jim Hutton in a series of comedies, which made her one of the best comedians of the sixties, but she was also skilled in dramatic roles. Among the most important roles of Prentiss are in The World of Henry Orient (1964), He & She (1967), The Parallax View (1974), and The Stepford Wives (1975).
