Joe E. Brown was born on July 28, 1892 in Holgate, Ohio, USA as Joseph Evans Brown. He died in Brentwood, California, USA, on July 6, 1973, of a stroke. Joe E. Brown received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960. He was once married to Kathryn Francis McGraw (1915-1973) and had four children, two sons and two daughters. His most important works include: Show Boat (1951), Around the World in Eighty Days (1956), Some Like It Hot (1959), and many others.
