An American writer and producer who graduated from the University of Oregon and moved to California in 1990, beginning his career in screenwriting. His most important works include Black Hawk Down (2001), The Company (2007), and Transformers: The Last Knight (2017). He won several awards, including the Writers Guild of America Award.
