A Scottish actor, born on April 3, 1989. James received the Ian Charleson Award for his role as Mikhail Platonov in Platonov and was nominated for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his role as Louis Ironson in Angels in America. His credits include Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015), '71 (2014), and Mary Queen of Scots (2018).
