Leslie Brooks was born on July 13, 1922 in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA as Virginia Leslie Gettman. Leslie married Donald Anthony Shay (1945-1948) and they had a daughter, and when they divorced, she married actor Russ Vincent (1950-2001) and they had three daughters and she stayed with him until he died.
