Christian Rivers is a New Zealand visual effects artist and director. He won the Academy Award for Best Achievement in Visual Effects for the movie King Kong (2005). Rivers has worked in several movies such as The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012). He also directed the movie Mortal Engines (2018).
