An English cinematographer, born in London, England. He attended the Mercers' School in London. He entered the film industry as a camera trainee. He was known for his collaboration with directors Michael Winner and John Landis. Among his credits are An American Werewolf in London (1981), Superman III (1983), and Little Shop of Horrors (1986). He died on October 20, 2010 in Isle of Wight, England.
