A Scottish director and producer, born in Glasgow, Scotland, in the United Kingdom. He studied at Hutchesons' Grammar School in Glasgow, then studied music at Harvard University. He decided to focus on drama. He participated in a number of works, such as The Omega Factor (1979), Inspector Morse (1987-1988), and Doctor Who (1979-1980).
