Biography
A British singer, musician, lyricist, born in Liverpool, England. He is best known as a member of the British band The Beatles. He began writing songs when he was sixteen years old. He wrote more than two hundred poems, some of which were turned into songs, such as "Yesterday",...Read more "Can't Buy Me Love", "Hey Jude", and several other songs. When the Beatles stopped disbanded in 1970, he began his solo career and released many songs, in addition to forming his own band, Wing, with his wife Linda, and their best-known album was "Band on the Run." The band was also known for the James Bond movie song "Live and Let Die," which McCartney wrote. He is known for A Hard Day's Night (1964) and Yellow Submarine (1968).
