An Iranian screenwriter, actor and producer, born in Tehran, Iran. He moved when he was six years old with his family to California, in the United States, and married an Indian-American woman named Preetha and they have two children. He appeared on The Colbert Report with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Among his credits are The Interpreter, Dragonfly, and Friday After Next.
