Rosemary Clooney was born in Maysville, Kentucky, USA on May 23, 1928. She won a MAM award and a Star on the Walk of Fame for singing. Rosemary Clooney was born to parents of Irish-German descent and worked in her childhood as a singer with her sister Betty Clooney. After graduating from high school, she separated from her sister in 1949 and worked on her own. She appeared for the first time on television in 1950, then appeared in the cinema in 1953. Among the most important roles of Rosemary Clooney are in White Christmas (1954), Red Garters (1954), The Lux Shiw (1957), and Golden Anniversary (1995).
