An American writer, born in New York State, USA. He worked with Disney in the 1940s, including the films Der Fuehrer's Face (1943) and Lady and the Tramp (1955). He also worked as a design consultant and event sequences in several animated films, among his works is the film Mary Poppins in 1964, which was nominated for an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay by Bill Walsh.
