Australian singer and songwriter, born in Adelaide, Australia. In the middle of the 1990s, she started her singing career with the local jazz group Crisp. After the band Crisp broke up in 1997, she traveled to Australia and put out her debut album, "OnlySee." She then relocated to London and started singing with the duet Zero 7. She obtained a deal with Sony and put out her second album in 2000. She then made the decision to sign a deal with Go! Beat. She has released albums such as "Color the Small One," "Some People Have Real Problems," and "We Are Born." In 2014, she released her sixth album, "1000 Forms of Fear," featuring her hit song "Chandelier." BRW magazine listed her as the 97th wealthiest Australian under 40 in 2014. The ARIA Awards and MTV Music Awards are only two of the many international honors her music has received.
