An American actor, fashion designer, and film director, born on August 27, 1961. The Ford family moved to Santa, New Mexico, where he was educated at the prestigious Santa Preparatory School, graduating at the age of 17. He then enrolled at New York University in 1979. He moved to Los Angeles, where he worked in television advertisements to help him live. He then realized that fashion is the right balance between painting and commerce. Ford was the creative director of the Gucci brand from 1994 to 2004, after which he founded his own fashion brand, Tom Ford. At the same time, he directed the famous movie A Single Man. Tom Ford is best known for working as a director, writer, and producer in the movies A Single Man (2009), and Nocturnal Animals (2016).
