An Irish actress, born on October 20, 1959 in Dublin, Ireland, into a family with deep roots in the performing arts. She won a scholarship to train at the Royal Academy of Music. She attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her notable works include Hereafter (2010), Testament of Youth (2014), and Matterhorn (2007).
