An English singer, actress, and writer, born in Birmingham, England. She attended a private school for girls, where she studied singing and theatrical arts. She released more than twenty albums and published two books. She also appeared in more than forty plays and ten feature films. Among her artistic works are Jubilee (1978) and The Tempest (1979).
