An American director, producer and writer, born in New York, USA. She is a graduate of Barnard College of the Arts in New York and Columbia University, from which she obtained an MBA and then a doctorate. Among her credits are Playing for Time (1980) and The Royal Romance of Charles and Diana (1982).
