An Egyptian poet, born in Aswan, in 1946. He received a intermediate-level education and then moved to Cairo. He worked as a writer on the radio program On the Rebab, and wrote the songs I Say I'll Repent, and By God, I Was Taken by Surprise. He wrote the song lyrics for some productions, including Deceiving Appearances, and Seek the Origin. He died in 1998.
