An American author who was born on May 11, 1951 in, Elmhurst, Illinois. After graduating from high school in Illinois, she received a BA in English Literature in Creative Writing, and a MA in Applied Theology from Marylhurst University. In addition to writing, she is best known as a science fiction author, and her novel Candeland was adapted into a film. Her books include When Darkness (1985), Lizard Wine in (1995), and Dead on Demand (2001).
