An Iraqi director and actor, born in Baghdad in 1948. He applied to work in the Radio and Television Authority and served as an assistant director, then took a course at the Radio and Television Training Institute. In 1973, he moved to the Series Department, which was headed by director Emmanuel Rasam. He then directed and wrote the script of the series Time Has Another Face. Among his most important works is the film Yonder Houses at the Alley (1977).
