A Scottish actor, born in Glasgow, United Kingdom. He trained as a drama teacher at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. He participated in voice-over work in documentaries such as Equinox, Horizon, and Reputation. He also worked extensively in radio, and wrote and read...Read more his own stories for BBC Radio. Among his credits are The Return of the Musketeers (1989) and Will Shakespeare (1978). In 1982, he was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for playing Schwekyk in Bertolt Brecht's "Schwekyk in the Second World War", at the National Theatre.
