A Chinese actor, born in the Dutch East Indies to Cantonese parents, he immigrated to Hong Kong as a teenager, where he attended acting school. In 1962, he began training in martial arts, and worked in more than a hundred films, including: (Five Fingers of Death) in 1972, (Executioners from Shaolin) in 1977, (Fist of Fury II) in 1977, and (Clan of the White Lotus) in 1980.
