She began writing novels and writing film and series scripts at the same time to deepen her studies in directing. After returning to Georgia, she worked on several documentaries, then moved to work on television. Her film Anna's Life (2016), won the Georgian National Film Center Competition Award and was screened internationally for the first time at the Göteborg International Film Festival in Sweden.
