He worked in the Radu Stanca Theatre in his hometown of Sibiu, and the Bulandra Theatre in...Read more Bucharest, where he served as director of the theater for 12 years. He received the Order of the Star of Romania with the rank of Knight in 2001. He also received the Excellency Prize of Romanian Cinematography in 2002. Some of his credits include Bucharest Non Stop (2015) and Haiducii (1966). He died on January 18, 2017.
