A Hungarian director and writer, born in Budapest, Hungary. He graduated from the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest in 1967 and made his professional play debut at the Budapest Comedy Theatre, where he became artistic director in 1987. He has directed productions at the Finnish National Theatre and the Actors Theatre of Louisville, USA.
