A Turkish film director, actor, and producer. He won the Best Director Award at the 12th Dhaka International Film Festival. He was born to a customs official. He studied art history at Hacettepe University. He has a long career as he directed several films. He is known for Hanzo (1975), Bir günün hikayesi (1980), and Prenses (1987).
