An American director, born in Massachusetts, USA. He began his career in a Boston newspaper, then decided to move into the film industry. Martinson had a portfolio of works that reached one hundred films and became famous after directing the movie Batman: The Movie in 1966. He also directed other works related to superheroes, including the series Wonder Woman (1975) and Super Vicky (1985).
