An Emirati poet born in 1961. He obtained a BA in Mass Communication and an MA in Mass Communication from Ohio University in the United States. He started publishing in 1980 in the cultural press in the Emirates. He published his first poetry collection entitled "Night", which won the Youssef Al-Khal Prize for Poetry in 1992. He released three collections of poetry: “Ink and Flirting” (1999), “Winter” (2002), and “Rain on the Sea” (2005). He co-produced the movie Sharp Tools (2017) and cowrote Honey, Rain & Dust (2016).
