A Turkish writer, director, and producer, born in 1971 in Izmir, Turkey. She graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Cinema, TV, and Photography. She is known for Far Away Too Close (2016), Yeditepe Istanbul (2001), and Grudge (2021). She was married to Ozan Muharrem Güven in 2005 but got a divorce in 2010.
