An Egyptian director and media presenter, born in the city of Desouk in 1970. She studied at the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams, at the Department of Drama and Theater Criticism at the Academy of Arts, and studied English at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University. At the beginning of her career, she worked as a journalist in the literary supplement in the Cairo newspaper Al Messa and became editor in the literary department. She was appointed as a drama director at the Egyptian radio. She directed many important radio programs, including The Peak of Dramatic Event and Encyclopedia of Arts. She started writing drama in 2008, and the late director Ahmed Selim collaborated with her on a TV special entitled I Only Came to Use the Phone, which she adapted from a short story with the same title by the Colombian writer Garcia Marquez. She won the Best Director Award in the Egyptian Radio Competition at the beginning of the Broadcasters Innovate Competition in November 2009. She prepared and directed the TV special Pastoral Symphony in 2010, based on a novel by the French writer André Gide. She directed the radio series Hakim Egypt.
