• An Iranian-American director, born in Arak, Iran, to parents from the Iranian city of Isfahan. He graduated from the Academy of Drama in Iran, worked in the audio-visual department...Read more in Tehran called Honarhayeh Zeeba, and made twenty-four documentaries before leaving the country. He then moved to the United States in 1955 to continue his film studies at Syracuse University. He was invited by the US State Department to continue his studies in America after winning an international film award. Among his credits are Get Smart, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and The Incredible Hulk. He died on August 20, 2011.
