An Indian director, producer and screenwriter, best known for his contributions to the Telugu film industry over the decades. He began his career in the 1970s and has received numerous awards and recognitions for his work, including the Filmfare Award for Best Director in the Telugu category for Premalekhalu (1977) and the Nandi Award for Best Director for Bobbili Brahmanna (1984). Among his credits are Subhash Chandra Bose (2005) and Baahubali: The Beginning (2015).
