An American actor of Russian and Slovak origins, born in Ohio, USA. He studied at Florida State University and obtained a bachelor's degree in Radio and Television Communications, then went to Michigan State University, obtained a master's degree, then joined WGN Radio in Chicago. Some of his credits include The Ice Pirates (1984), A Perfect Stranger (1994) and Captains Courageous (1996). He died on April 16, 2002.
