A Romanian actor, director, and writer, born on June 6, 1963, in Bistrica, Romania. His works include Illegitimate (2016) and Puzzle (2013). He graduated from the Institute of Performing Arts and Cinematography in 1988. He is a university professor with a doctorate at the National University of Theater and Cinematic Arts "IL Caragiale". In 2016, he won the Bayard Award for Best Actor at the International Francophone Film Festival in Namur, Belgium. He is married to actress Adriana Eremiscu and they have two children.
