An American writer, producer, and actress, born in Chicago, USA. She studied arts at the University of Chicago, then moved to Broadway in New York. She began her career in 1977, and appeared in a number of works, such as Johnny Dangerously (1984), Rustlers' Rhapsody (1985), and Noises Off... (1992).
