An American screenwriter, born in New York, United States. He graduated from Lehman College in New York, where he studied Mass Communications and Theater, and received a scholarship for playwriting at Brandeis University. Instead, he chose to move to Los Angeles and pursue a career in writing comedies for television and film. His early work includes the TV series Bret Maverick in 1981. Among his credits are The 4400, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and The Twilight Zone.
