A Spanish writer and animator, born on March 11, 1957, in Aguilar de la Frontera, Córdoba, Spain. In 1982, he created his own animation studio, Milímeters Dibujos Animados, SA, with his partner Ángel Izquierdo. He is also known for his work as director of the Animacor International Animation Festival. His works include Dragon Hill (2002), which won the Goya Award for Best Animation Film in 2003, and The Magic Cube (2006).
