An American writer, game designer, cartoonist, and producer, who is best known for his Diary of a Wimpy Kid series of novels. He is also the owner and creator of a children's website and has appeared in the film based on the series. Jeff was born in Maryland and attended the University of Maryland in the early 1990s, where he created the fictional character and published a feature about him in the university newspaper, The Diamondback. The series has sold over fifty million copies.
