He became a writer in an advertising agency and a partner and creative director in a company from 1967 to 1970, and began writing stories for children. His first...Read more children's book "Chocolate Fever", was published in 1972 and won the Massachusetts Children's Book Award. He also wrote novels for adults, such as “Jane’s House,” which was turned into a television movie of the same name in 1994. He died on April 18, 2020.
