An American film director, born December 21, 1935. He won an Oscar for directing the movie Rocky (1976). He also directed several films, including The Formula (1980), The Karate Kid Part III (1989), and The Power of One (1992). He passed away on June 16, 2017 in Los Angeles at the age of 81.
