Australian actor, writer, and producer, born September 5, 1939 in Queanbeyan, New South Wales, Australia. He is best known for playing the role of secret agent James Bond in the 1969 movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service - which was his only film in the James Bond series as well as his first acting experience. His works include The Man from Hong Kong, Gettysburg, and Star of Jaipur.
