An Irish actress, born in Dublin, Ireland, the youngest of three children of a plastic surgeon and a real estate agent. She studied at the National College of Art in Dublin and worked as a model before entering the film industry. She began her acting career at the age of nineteen with the 1985 film A View to a Kill, about the British spy James Bond. She subsequently appeared in a variety of films, including Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), Major League II (1994), and King Solomon's Mines (2004).
