An American director, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. He trained at the Philadelphia School of Industrial Arts and Rochester Mechanics' Art Institute, New York. He previously worked as an art editor for the Tacoma News Tribune. Among his credits are Fantasia (1940) and Dumbo (1941). He died on September 29, 1976.
