An American writer and actor, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Among his credits are The Masked Bride (1925), Mutiny on the Bounty (1935), The Silent Lover (1926), and The Bad One (1930). He married Nancy Everett and actress Carmelita Geraghty. He died of a stroke on February 1, 1962 in Hollywood, California, USA.
