An American writer and novelist, born in Chicago, United States. He also worked as a cartoonist, and during his work as an illustrator, he used pseudonyms for a period. Among his credits are 7 Faces of Dr. Lao, Night of the Eagle, and The Twilight Zone. He died on February 21, 1967.
